London tate art gallery (pictures and paintings)
Pre raphlites work
All artwork was scouted out at either the London art gallery or the tate(i massively preferred the london gallery as it featured all the pre-raphlite work i had researched into and most of rosettes work was on show. though, like the manchester gallery, the light shown on the work and made it hard to get a picture that wasn't obstructed by light. being able to see my favourite piece (pictured above) was very exciting specially as id only ever seen it on a computer screen or in books.I found the piece to be a much smaller piece then what images online would lead you to believe but the amount of detail was still impressive. The vibrant colours and hanging follage added to the ambience of the image.
Other xre-raphilite work that i managed to look at included sketch book drawings done by rosette which
The Gorilla Girls
Another section of the tate also contained work that had been previous reference to my own. This work was namely The Gorilla Girls. Featuring some of their most renown activist pieces .One piece which i took upon myself to read a little closer into was the 'Bus company are more enlightened than NYC artists' a interesting piece that gave the statistics of how many women where in the bus industry compared to being artist in famous gallery.
